Landscapes
Between 2014 and 2017, I created a collection of watercolor paintings. These artworks played a crucial role in my healing journey after a car accident and mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI), as I shared during my TEDxSalem talk titled "Reframing the Journey." Struggling with abstract thinking and unable to paint, I discovered solace in the realm of watercolor landscapes. Drawing inspiration from captivating images on Instagram, I embarked on a project called "Postcards to Myself." To my delight, this endeavor led me to meet the very friends in Scotland whose picturesque scenes I had painted. Additionally, I have depicted scenes from US National Parks such as Crater Lake in Washington, the enchanting Maine Coastline, and the awe-inspiring Painted Hills in Oregon.
