Figurative
During my time studying and sharing a studio with abstract artist Ted Katz in Portland, OR, my focus was on creating abstract figurative drawings and other abstract, mixed-media paintings. I utilized various mediums such as charcoal, pen & ink, acrylics, and conté crayon. Abstract figurative art is a captivating fusion of abstract and representational styles, combining elements of realism with abstracted or distorted components. This artistic approach allows me to simultaneously convey objective observations and subjective emotions, infusing the work with a profound sense of depth and intricacy.
